Puschkinia

Puschkinia, known as striped squill, are native to the Middle East and the Caucasus region. The genus is named for Count Mussin-Puschkin, an 18th century Russian scientist and plant explorer. This and other plants were collected during his expedition to the Caucasus in 1802. Puschkinia is very effective for naturalizing, bulb gardens, rock gardens, container gardens and mass planting.
