We collect personal information, such as names, mailing addresses, e-mail addresses, and telephone numbers when submitted voluntarily by customers. We only ask for information necessary for us to fulfill your specific requests. It will only be used for that purpose unless you give us permission to use it in another manner such as adding you to our mailing lists. Your information will not be shared with others for marketing purposes.
We do not receive or store financial information such as credit card numbers at this site. All financial transactions are through Paypal secure sites.
Your personal information is kept secure. Only authorized employees, agents and contractors who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential have access to it.
We may share information with governmental agencies or others for purposes of fraud prevention or investigation when permitted or required by law.
You may opt out of e-mails and newsletters.
- Orders must be prepaid. We accept Paypal, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover/Novus and electronic check payments. All payments are processed through PayPal secure sites. We do not accept personal checks, cashiers checks or money orders.
- Sales Tax will be collected on purchases by Georgia residents.
- Orders cancelled after payment are subject to a 3% fee to cover payment processing and handling.
- We have a reputation for lightening fast shipment and intend to keep it that way. Order
processing begins as soon as possible after payment is received.
Most items are shipped by FEDEX or UPS GROUND. Oversize or heavy items are shipped MOTOR-FREIGHT.
Because we ship by those carriers, we must be provided with a physical address and a telephone number. No P.O. boxes or APO addresses, please.
Items shipped by MOTOR-FREIGHT require your signature at delivery. Items are delivered curb-side. You are responsible for moving the item from the curb.
Bare root plants are usually harvested fresh by order, but according to a schedule and weather conditions. Any delays in harvesting them will probably be weather related, but shipments of some bare root plants may take up to two weeks. Simply put, we want your plants to arrive at your doorstep in perfect condition. But if you have an urgent need for bare root plants, do not hesitate to contact me. I will try to work it out.
Container grown plants are grown in greenhouses and can be shipped very quickly as long as the weather in transit is not inclement.
All live plants are usually shipped on Monday or Tuesday so they should reach your door before the weekend. We want to avoid delays in transit that may compromise the health of your plants. If we determine that the weather will be too hot or too cold to ship safely, we may wait a few days to avoid the possibility of damage to the plants.
We usually begin selling flower bulbs well in advance of their season. For example, we may begin selling fall bulbs in July, though we can not begin shipping until September or October. Be assured they will be shipped out to you as soon as they arrive at the warehouse. This is noted in the item descriptions.
Some decorative home and garden items are hand-crafted or finished to order. These are usually shipped within three weeks of receipt of your order. This will be noted in the product description. Personalized items may take a bit longer. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions or wish to request specific shipping dates.
Orders for multiple products may be shipped by multiple carriers and at different times, so they may not arrive together.
- All shipping is limited to addresses in the 48 continental United States. We do not ship to
Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico due to high transportation costs.
We will not ship bare root and potted plants to Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. The departments of agriculture of those states require that incoming plants be cleaned of all traces of soil before shipment. The procedure is cost-prohibitive for us and risky for the plants.
We are able to ship imported plant items in the Bulbs category to all 48 continental states because they enter the U.S. with USDA phytosanitary certification.
- If your shipment is damaged or delayed excessively in
transit, make a notation on the carrier's delivery receipt, if
available, and file a claim against the carrier immediately, then call
us. Our responsibility for delivery ends upon our transferring the
product to the carrier, but we will assist you with your claim.
Many orders ship in multiple cartons by different carriers and may arrive days apart, so check with us before reporting a shortage with the carrier. Claims for shortages or any other cause must be made within five days after receipt of shipment. In no case are we liable for more than the invoice price of the product.
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your plant purchase, I will either replace it or refund your money for the item. Shipping charges are not refundable. Simply e-mail or call me and let me know.
Manufactured items are subject to warranties and policies of their respective manufacturers. Warranty information is included with many manufacturers' products, or may be found on their websites. Contact me prior to returning any merchandise for warranty or defective consideration. I'll be pleased to assist you.
We guarantee to ship healthy plants but will not assume any risk or responsibility for transportation, condition or viability of the plants after they are delivered to the shipper.
We exercise care to accurately describe all products. On proper proof, we will replace products that may prove otherwise or refund the amount paid. However, we shall not be liable for any amount greater than the original price.

SPECIFICALLY, WE DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION: 1) ANY WARRANTIES CONCERNING THE AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY OR CONTENT OF INFORMATION, PRODUCTS OR SERVICES; AND 2) ANY WARRANTIES OF TITLE OR WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
THIS DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY APPLIES TO ANY DAMAGES OR INJURY CAUSED BY ANY FAILURE OF PERFORMANCE, ERROR, OMISSION, INTERRUPTION, DELETION, DEFECT, DELAY IN OPERATION OR TRANSMISSION, COMPUTER VIRUS, COMMUNICATION LINE FAILURE, THEFT OR DESTRUCTION OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO, ALTERATION OF, OR USE OF RECORD, WHETHER FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORTIOUS BEHAVIOR, NEGLIGENCE, OR UNDER ANY OTHER CAUSE OF ACTION. CUSTOMER SPECIFICALLY ACKNOWLEDGES THE SERVICE IS NOT LIABLE FOR THE DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS OR THIRD-PARTIES AND THAT THE RISK OF INJURY FROM THE FOREGOING RESTS ENTIRELY WITH CUSTOMER.
NEITHER THE SERVICE NOR ANY OF ITS AGENTS, AFFILIATES OR CONTENT PROVIDERS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF USE OF THE SERVICE OR INABILITY TO GAIN ACCESS TO OR USE THE SERVICE OR OUT OF ANY BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY. CUSTOMER HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL APPLY TO ALL CONTENT ON THE SERVICE.
