Ipheion is a small genus of perennials that is native to South America. They are commonly called Spring Starflowers. Plant in full sun in USDA climate zones 5 to 9. They are great for bulb gardens, container gardens, perennial gardens and for naturalizing. In the southeast U.S. they are often naturalized in lawns providing early spring interest.
